Digital Marketing & E - Commerce Manager

Role type: temp to perm

Position overview:

Womanhood is looking for a proactive, creative, and driven Digital Marketing and E-commerce Manager. 

In this unique role you’ll be responsible for executing digital strategies, alongside more commercially driven tasks, to meet the brand’s overall marketing objectives. You will report into, and work alongside, the Founder and supporting third party PR and paid media agencies.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a resourceful and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a creative, fast paced, start-up environment. We are looking for a people person with a great work ethic, and above all a positive, get up and go attitude. You’ll be confident coordinating multiple tasks, have a natural ability to work to deadlines and be a great team player.

The position will be initially offered on a temporary contract, with aim of becoming permanent after 6 months. Progression to a permanent role will be dependent on candidate fit and performance.

The role:

  • Create, implement and optimise a digital marketing roadmap across all channels with a focus on brand exposure, customer acqusition and retention
  • Activate best practises in digital marketing across functions SEO/SEM, Data/Analytics/Tools, Web and Mobile UX including landing page and conversion optimization, etc. 
  • Continually analyse ROI's, KPIs and metrics across digital marketing channels and platforms
  • CRM: Responsible for the newsletter, segmentation, monitoring and creating campaigns to nurture customer relations
  • Constantly maintain brand standards on the website – images, descriptions, prices, and all other information.
  • Update and introduce new brands, collections, and stock arrivals to the site.
  • Manage and grow customer loyalty programmes to drive retention.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to send out PR and Influencer gifts, as guided by womanhood’s external PR team.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement of the website, alongside researching and implementing appropriate solutions, utilising third parties where appropriate. 
  • Support third party paid media agencies where applicable, to ensure efficient and smooth performance across all digital marketing channels.
  • Report directly into the Founder, creating monthly reports on sales, web analytics, digital marketing performance & Google Analytics.
  • Responsible for additional ad hoc tasks pending team requirements and company objectives

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in the digital marketing industry – salary will be dependent on experience
  • Start-up experience preferable
  • Experience in online retail with a history of driving sales via digital marketing mechanisms
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics and Shopify
  • Social media savvy
  • Experience with Adobe CC Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro.
  • Analytical and data-driven; motivated by growth opportunities. 
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast past working environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK

Wholesale Buyer

Position overview:

womanhood is looking for a creative, analytical, and resourceful wholesale buyer to join the team. 

In this role you’ll be responsible for maintaining, growing, and nurturing wholesale relationships, whilst building out womanhood’s wholesale lingerie offering. 

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a resourceful individual who thrives in a creative, fast paced, start-up environment. We are looking for a people person with a great work ethic, and above all a positive, get up and go attitude. You’ll be confident coordinating multiple tasks, have a natural ability to work to deadlines and be a great team player.

The position will be initially offered on a temporary contract, with aim of becoming permanent after 6 months. Progression to a permanent role will be dependent on candidate fit and performance.

The role:

  • Responsible for managing brand relations, researching new wholesale opportunities and placing orders in line with wholesale buying calendars.
  • Be aware and innovative of all lingerie and market trends, sourcing new brands, developing exclusives in line with the womanhood strategy and vision.
  • Excellent communicative skills with suppliers in aide of developing new and existing relationships.
  • Assist with the seasonal strategy, brand/designer mix and range plans – presenting new collections and buying choices to the team for review, making suggestions to the team where necessary.
  • Negotiate optimum terms on all “buys” including delivery, discount and payment with suppliers.
  • Managing OTB, implement strategies to achieve targeted sales, margin and profit.
  • Attend all Buying appointments, fashion shows, and showrooms, locally and internationally (subject to change due to impact of COVID19), as part of the buying role and for relationship building with the industry.
  • Continually review product performance and pro-actively work with the marketing team to develop strategies to maximise sell through.
  • Tap into key trends and drive overall profitability through analysis of product performance, brand awareness and potential customer intent to purchase.
  • Responsible for managing stock levels and incoming stock arrivals in partnership with our UK warehouse.
  • Report directly into the Founder, creating monthly reports on sales performance and sales forecasts for coming seasons.
  • Responsible for additional ad hoc tasks pending team requirements and company objectives

Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in buying, ideally in lingerie 
  • Start-up experience preferable
  • Strong knowledge of how to manage a B2B wholesale account both within the UK and internationally 
  • Managed budgets with a proven track record of growing online sales through buying strategies
  • The ability to recognise future trends in buying choices to be a leader in the industry
  • Highly creative and motivated self-starter who thrives in an exciting fast-paced environment
  • Excellent grammar and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
