our womanhood ~ chapter IV

As part of our latest campaign, we invited our community to take part in a shoot for womanhood. As with all our images, they remain untouched.

We had a chat with Paige about what womanhood means to her and the journey she has been on.

My own womanhood feels ever evolving and something I don’t think I can entirely summarise just yet. It is evolving constantly and will continue to, which I think is a lovely journey to be on.

A recent evolution has been creating a discussion about womanhood with other people, having an open dialogue where nothing is off limits has taught me so much about my own womanhood as well as those around me.

The older I get the more things I realise there are that encompass my womanhood. My body, my mind and my soul all contribute to what I believe makes my womanhood.

I’m 26yo and feel like there’s still so many pivotal and important moments yet to come. I feel like women’s voices are getting louder and heard more which is amazing to see and I’m so glad to be a part of the team.

I’m in a really good place, luckily I’ve always loved my body (knowing it is just a vessel for my soul) and accepted it as it is. To me, that’s a big part of my womanhood. My body changes constantly and is a product of my thoughts, feelings, and manifestations. My perceptions and beliefs are evolving alongside my womanhood and so far it is wonderful journey and I can’t wait for it to continue!

If I ever find myself struggling or thinking negatively about my body I always bring my consciousness back, ground myself and realise that my body does an amazing, beautiful and incredible job. This relationship took a while to get there but it’s a belief that give me a lot of love!

I think ‘you body is a vessel for your soul’ really puts things in perspective for me and is something I remind myself of a lot. It allows me to think outside of myself, realise that whatever issue I’m thinking or worrying about probably isn’t the be all and end all. I believe that in terms of bodies, instead of focusing on the outside, focus on the inside and you’ll be so so much happier in the long run.
