our womanhood ~ chapter II
As part of our latest campaign, we invited our community to take part in a shoot for womanhood. As with all our images, they remain untouched.
We had a chat with Gabriela about what womanhood means to her and the journey she has been on.
"Currently, my journey of womanhood is accepting the changes to my body that come with being a woman. I think a lot of us have this image of our ‘perfect’ selves. Being a woman is sexy! No matter our size or shape.
I started developing really early, way before any of my friends but I always felt sexy and confident. That doesn’t mean I don't have moments now when I hate a certain part of my body or look at old pictures of myself and wish I still looked like that but, it passes and I just think it's a waste of time and energy to think like that. I hope with each generation the stress and worry about what you look like is lessened. I think it’s really weird how normalised it is to be horrible to yourself.

My one piece of advice for women would be: be nice to yourself. Be nicer to yourself than you are to other people, you’ll be the one reaping the benefits and you’ll enjoy life so much more."
